Sim... irei amor meu, onde cantam
Os pássaros, onde o céu é
Mais azul, onde minha alma canta e
Voa com seus abraços... Seus beijos
E meus lábios sorrirão
Por sabê-lo tão perto... Tão meu!
Nessa noite de verão...
Lua de prata que nos assiste...
Quero seu beijo ardente queimando meus lábios...
Suas mãos indicando o caminho. Leva-me

Do momento, amar somente!
Amo, como amo... E amando sigo,
Embriagando-me nesse desejo sem fim...
Que me impede que ande em outros caminhos...
Só esse caminho me traz canto, vida... Alegria...
Abraça-me... Preciso... Desejo esse momento...
Ama-me amor meu... Até a loucura!
Desvenda meus segredos, desnuda minha alma!...

Abraça-me agora, leve-me por seus caminhos, onde
Bem sei, encontrarei toda paixão que busquei...
Que hoje queima... Arde em mim... Se diz sem fim...
Abraça-me, jura que hoje sou você, sua pele...
Você amor, está aqui em mim!...
Diz outra vez que me ama... Jura!

Suas mãos que acariciam, seus lábios nos meus,
Sua pele na minha, esse gosto de mar... De sal...
O gosto do seu beijo convida-me amá-lo
Ser sua para sempre, ainda que sofrendo...
Quero você em mim, comigo... Só para mim!...
Faça-me amor, hoje... Agora... Sua para sempre!

Te quiero en mí, conmigo... Sólo para mí!...
Hazme el amor, hoy... Ahora... Tuya para siempre!

Well, perhaps being overly picky, I'd say you had one too many in that last
sentence.

See? Works better, doesn't it?

Thanks, although I don't buy SD cards that expensive, as none of my
cameras need them. The fastest reader I have is my Sharkoon:

I recently read an article on a german online magazine, www.spiegel.de , how
a hard drive's free space, when formatted, does not exacltly match the
advertised size. For example, my 320 GBHitachi deskstar sata 2 10400 rpm
formatted is 298 GB (Win XP greek).
YMMV.

Hmm. I didn't check prices in the article, but I have a number of
the Kingston and Transcend SDHC (2,4,8 and 16GB) cards and some of
them appeared to be mentioned in the article. While I can't recall
what I paid for most of these, they were all quite reasonably
priced. I think J&R (local to me) had 4GB Kingston SDHC and 4GB
SanDisk CF card for about $6, but I paid about $15 several months
earlier for a slower 8 GB Class 2 SanDisk card because that was good
enough for my mp3 player/jpg viewer.

Well, dahhhhh! Big surprise.

Fist of all any file system has administrative overhead. Where do you
suppose directories, free sector list, etc. are stored?

And second there's the difference between decimal and binary "kilo",
"mega", and "giga", the former based on 10^3 and used by HD
manufacturers, the later based on 2^10 and commonly used in computer
science. That difference is 2.4%.

Good for keyboards and printers, but crap for volume.

In the mean time FW800 is here, works, and at least for most Mac users,
emminently available. eSata requires more stuff.

7.3% at the gigabyte level.

1GB => 1073741824 bytes.

Yes, this has been true since the beginning. A certain amount of
headroom is needed for drivers, and secret sauce. .

It was just the class of card - I normally buy SanDisk Ultra, and not the
Extreme. Amongst the different manufacturers there is quite a speed
difference, and the USB memory sticks (as opposed to cards) can be very
slow writers.

I have Windows systems here routinely handling 40GB/day 24 x 7 over USB
2.0, so it's not that bad.

I don't think anyone claims it provides the ultimate disk performance, but
the 100-300GB 2.5-inch portable drives are very handy backup devices....

True, you are right. I was thinking kB only.

A long time ago in the good old days it was customary to use use lower
case to denote decimal and upper case to denote binary. So 1kB would be
1000 bytes and 1KB would be 1024 bytes.

Anyone ever see a picture of a 50mm fixed Iens (Industar from Russia)
fit into a DSLR camera. It looks very strange, but apparently it
works.
See the following websites for the photos, or just google it in the
internet:
http://www.galactinus.net/vilva/retro/eos350d_industar50.html
http://www.retrocamera.net/2009/01/magic-with-the-industar-50-2/
I am surprised to see that there seem to be no additional
modifications (except for the adapter ring to mount on the DSLR), and
one of the website above shows reasonable picture quality.

I heard that the pancake fixed lens generally follow a simple design
from the Zeiss Tessar lens. I believe that the new Olympus 25mm 1:2.8
pancake lens also utilize the same design. How much larger is the
Olympus lens in comparison to the Industar-50mm lens? I could not get
dimensions for any of these lens, although the photos on the websites
show how tiny they are. It would be interesting if an adapter can be
made available for the old Industar (or Zeiss Tessar) lenses to fit a
Panasonic Lumix G1.

Looking at the photos of a modern DSLR camera with these tiny lens,
how come they cannot come up with smaller size DSLR (containing at
least APS-C size sensor). Is it physically impossible, or the camera
industry just does not want to go in this direction?

Comments?

Works in a fashion. Manual focus, and manual exposure. If you really
want to go retro, just buy an M42 mount film camera, and you have a
choice of bargain priced cameras and bits.

The newish Olympus does this doesnt it?

I am trying to take a picture of a pair of scissors. I have scissors on a
piece of white paper.
When I transfer to my PC the white paper is bluish and the glare on the
(metal) scissors usually ruins the shot.
Or if I dont get the glare I tend to lose the detail/
I don`t have any pro equipement and as its only a few shots so it wouldn`t
be worth buying. (using Nikon SLR)

Any thoughts on how best to take these shots.

Build yourself a light box.

In its simplest form, it's a diffused light with a controlled
background.

Put a white sheet of cloth or paper on a table. Take a BIG cardboard
box and spray paint it white. Cut a whole in it for your camera
lens. Cut two more holes -- one to left and one to right -- in the
box. Cover the light holes with something light that will diffuse the
light -- maybe wax paper. Shine a light in from each side. Take your
picture with out the scissors there. Use your camera's white balance
feature to balance the photo. Stick in the scissors and shoot away.

If you don't have white spray paint and/or are too cheap to buy
some :-) you can tape some white copy paper to all of the inside
edges. You can steal the paper from work.

Won't work with reflections off of metal.

I find that difficult to believe. Buyer has to prove he returned item.
Paypal has always done right by me.

No humans at paypal? I don't think so. I paypaled $5k for an item and
paypal immediately called me to verify that it was me and that I wasn't
nuts.

How will the buyer prove he returned the item and not just an empty
box?

This is the common scan on Ebay. You buy something, then go to Paypal
for a "not as described" claim, Paypal takes the money out of the
seller's account immediately, pending seeing your proof of posting,
and then they refund you. You keep the original item and you also get
your money back.

Happens all the time, now that you cannot give bad feedback to a
buyer.
