[PSP-Snags] Making Tags using Blade Pro

Here is a new tutorial that I did today. Thought I would share it with the group. Enjoy.

Okay guys with this you can do soooooo much. From making buttons if you have a website to making frames. So there is alot to cover.
However since so many of us make tags I am going to do a tutorial using Blade Pro to decorate your Tags.
This is the Tag that we will be making. [image]

We will be using PSP 10 and Blade Pro.

Now then for this tutorial we will be using this picture below. Save it to your Pictures then open it in PSP.

Let's Begin with opening PSP and opening our image in PSP.

Next I want you to click on Effects then come down to Plugins. Once you do then let's click on Flaming Pear Blade Pro.

Next before we do anything I want you to look at a few things. If you notice to the left you have a bunch of settings. Using these you can adjust your dept, height, the glossy, glass look and much more.

Then underneath that you have what is called Lights and if you look beside each of the wheels you will see2 colored boxes. Using these boxes you can select the color that you want to have on your image. Sorry but no it doesn't have a transparency setting. I already looked. [image]
I usually keep mine on White or either a color in my picture. Like in the one I did above I used Red.

Now I want us to look over on the right hand side beside the settings. You should see 2 boxes.

When you download different Filters for your Blade Pro this is where you will use them. We will go into that with another tutorial.

Now let's look underneath these two boxes. You will see a set of three retangles. The 1st one will have a set of Dice on them. The dice are used for you to let the program adjust the different settings for you to give a different look each time.

The next two underneath your dice look like littel disc. When you click on them you will have a window pop up that will allow you to add different types of textures to your image.

Now that we know a little about Blade Pro let's continue with our tutorial.

Using the settings below I want you to add them to your image.

After you get done then just click OK. Then click on your Text Tool and type your name onto your tag.
Here is your final project.
