When resizing photos I know to uncheck the resample image so the
pixels stay the same and I can change the document dimensions and the
res. will change.
The photos are processed in ACR and the default res is 240. The
dimensions of the photo are quite large (17.9x11.9). When saving from
RAW I let it do it's thing and have not changed the res. to 300.
My questions are: Should I be resizing to a more manageable size like
8.5 x 11? I've been leaving them at the size they come off of ACR.
And when I do resize a photo, it still stays huge in PS. The
dimensions will say 8.5x11 in Bridge but if I open it back up into PS
the 100% view is huge.
If I know I'll be printing at the printers highest size (13x19) I'll
leave the size alone. But most photos are not ever going to be
printed at that size. So is it best to leave it alone or change the
size?
I do change size and res for email, but I'm looking at the large
photos for general viewing etc.
