Just thought I'd give y'all an update here. We still don't have power at our house ... have to have a new meter pole put up by the electric company and they can't do that til tomorrow or Wednesday ... then we have to have the electrician come out to put the box and pole for the wires and the meter head back on the pole ... and after that the electric company will have to come back out again and get all the wires up. And they're forecasting more severe storms here this week so don't know when we'll be able to go back home. But have had the insurance company to come out and take pics of all the damage, etc., so that part is taken care of. And of course after all of that is done the repair work will hopefully be started on the garage and the house.
Still staying at a motel for now but starting tomorrow night will go to a sister in laws house for the duration. Don't know if I'll be able to get online then. But hope to be back home at least by this coming week end ... if the weather holds.
