Skill Level: Intermediate
Supplies Needed:
Tube of your choice
Optional: Accents or Embellishments
Filters:
FM Tile Tools Demo Version Here
Preparation:
Install filter, if necessary
Performance Notes:
All settings remain the same unless
new settings are given.
Ok....let's get started!
1: File > Open
Find the tube of your choice
2: Window > Duplicate (Shift + D)
Close original
3: Dropper Tool
Choose two colors
Foreground = Light color
Background = Dark color
4: Image > Resize
Settings:
Resample using = Bicubic
Lock aspect ratio = Checked
Resize all layers = Checked
Width = No more than 350 Pixels
Height = No more than 350 Pixels
Optional: Adjust > Sharpness > Sharpen
5: File > New > Image
Settings:
Width = 25 Pixels
Height = 400 Pixels
Raster Background = Checked
Transparent = Checked
6: Flood Fill Tool
Settings:
Match mode = None
Use all layers = UNchecked
Blend mode = Normal
Opacity = 100
Left click to fill with Foreground color
7: Effects > Texture Effects > Weave
Settings:
Gap size = 5
Width = 5
Opacity = 50
Weave color = Background color
Gap Color = UNchecked
8: Image > Canvas Size
Settings:
Width = 35
Height = 400
Lock aspect ratio = UNchecked
Placement = Left center
