The FAQs cover pref deletion.

Also if its a Bridge problem you will get better help in the Bridge forum.

Are you using CS4 because you will need to install the optional "Contact Sheet II" software into Photoshop CS4.

This Link should help:
<http://kb.adobe.com/selfservice/viewContent.do?externalId=kb404900&sliceId=2#h5>

You can then Select your images in Bridge and go to Tools menu/Photoshop>Contact Sheet II…

and Contact Sheet II will then open in Photoshop.

For anyone still having this problem, I've found that using a program called FontNuke clears the font cache and I can use Photoshop once again.

Nothing wrong with your assessment of the situation Nini. That's exactly how it sounds to us english and american speakers too.

You say you see blues that others don't.

Not exactly.

But I have heard others (and it was only men) who describe a turquoise color as "Green" that I would call a "Blue".

As for the mid-range yellows/oranges, I have no idea if I see the same way as everyone else … or not!

It has never occurred to me to have my color vision tested … beyond passing those basic tests when you apply for a Driving Licence!

Try <http://www.xrite.com/custom_page.aspx?PageID=77>

If you get the "pick a country" page, pick your country, then go back to the linked page.

The test does take some patience, and on a computer display it's not perfect.

Oh, and some color names are pretty subjective, even without color vision problems.

Intriguing!

I scored "4" which is not quite "perfect" but not too shabby either!

("Perfect" is rated as Zero).

The highest number (worst vision) for my age group and gender is apparently 1520!

However, I do enjoy a calibrated wide-gamut NEC 2690 monitor so probably have somewhat of an unfair advantage.

My 4 errors were all in the brownish-olive part of the spectrum

Woohoo.. thanks for the link!

My score is 0 or "perfect!"

Seeing (pun intended!) as I'll be 60 in two weeks and am a male, I guess my 3 year-old calibrated Apple Cinema HD Display is a good complement to my own "equipment."

Well, I got a 4. My color is a little off in the blue/green part of the spectrum. Veeery interesting. I guess that makes me a man ;-) I'm 61. I hear that, as one gets older, the cornea actually starts to yellow. My parents both have cataracts. I hope I'm not headed in that direction.

Lloyd Chambers just published his review which can be found here:

For value/performance he says the Mac Pro 3.2 is it.

Yesterday I re-installed the driver for my SX200 and made that the default
printer.

That does seem to be the answer:

Remove the old Driver; Reinstall the newest available Driver for your printer; and make it the Default Printer

Yes, except that in this case both printers have the latest driver and I made the other printer the default.

Hi Buko, just out of curiosity were you also using OS 10.5.6? As for the auto rotate no I've tried many different sequences including files that have been saved as tiffs. I can get it to work fine in CS 3 absolute crap in CS 4 including an hour on the phone with Adobe support. What can be different about my setup?

I'm using Tiger 10.4.11

I've got a test system 10.5.6 I give it a try a little later.

Different person, different computer, different platform, and two-versions older software?

And that proves exactly what?

Except that both users probably have corrupt accounts?

QED: PEBCAK?

I recently upgraded to 10.5.6, and simple moves in photoshop are 'buggy'.
Undo, copy, paste, zoom won't work at times. Very frustrating. I've dumped the prefs and updated patches to Photoshop 10.0.1. Is this happening to anyone else? Any suggestions?

That's why Adobe does not support CS2 in Leopard. What you get is what you get.

CS2 is version 9

Hi,

I encountered this the other day when inserting metadata via File Info. When I selected that option from the File menu and then went through the options and got to IPTC Contact, I discovered that a website name was already in place. It was something called true.com which turns out to be a dating service site.

I thought this was strange and wondered if anyone else has encountered the same thing. Is it something that "came" with the software (CS3). . . I've never seen it before.

I guess we should double-check their metadata before saving?

Thanks for your thoughts.
