Misted Tube of your choice
 
Preparation
Install the filter, if necessary
 
Place the Mask in your Masks
Folder in your PSP
   
Notes

the same unless specified
  
Okay Let's Get Started!!
 
1. File > Open
Your tube
 
2. Window > Duplicate (Shift + D)
Close original  
 
3. Image > Resize
Settings:

Resample using = Smart Size

Lock aspect ratio = Checked

Resize all layers = Checked 

Width = No more than 340 Pixels

Height = No more than 380 Pixels

 

*Optional

4. Adjust > Sharpness > Sharpen

 

5. Edit > Copy

 
6. Dropper Tool
Left click to choose a 
Light color
for your Foreground
Right click to choose a
Medium color for your
Background
 
7. File > New > New Image
Settings:
Width = 350 Pixels
Height = 400 Pixels
Image Characteristics =
Raster Background
Color = Transparent checked
 
8. Flood Fill Tool
Settings:

Match mode = None

Use all layers = Not checked

Blend mode = Normal

Opacity = 100

Right click to fill with Background color

 
9. Selections > Select All
 
10. Edit > Paste Into Selection
(your misted tube)
 
11. Selections > Select None
 
12. Adjust > Blur > Gaussian Blur
Settings:
Radius = 6.00
 
13. Effects > Image Effects >
Seamless Tiling
Settings:
Corner = Checked
Vertical = Checked
Vertical offset (%) = 0
Transition (%) = 50
 
14. Effects > Plugins > VM Extravaganza
Channel 5
(or VM Distortion > Channel 5)
Settings:
Red Tuning = 26
Green Tuning = 10
Blue Tuning = 34
Roll =118
Interference = 173
Vertical Drift = 207
Horizontal Drift = 255
 
15. Effects > Image Effects >
Seamless Tiling
 
16. Layers > New Raster Layer
 
17. Flood Fill Tool
Right click to fill with Background color
 
18. Layers Palette
Lower Opacity to 50
 
19. Layers > Merge > Merge Visible
 
20. Layers > Load/Save Mask >
Load Mask From Disk
Settings:
Mask = 9~T
Create mask from = Source luminance
Orientation = Fit to canvas
Invert transparency = Checked
Hide all mask = Checked
 
21. Layers > Merge > Merge Group
 
22. Effects > 3D Effects > Drop Shadow
Settings:
Horizontal & Vertical = 0
Opacity = 45
Blur = 20.00
Color = White (or your choice)
Shadow on new layer = Unchecked
 
23. Layers > Duplicate
 
24. Image > Resize
Settings:
Width & Height = 90% (Percent)
Resize all layers = Unchecked
 
25. Layers > Merge > Merge Visible
 
26. Image > Canvas Size
Settings:
Lock aspect ratio = NOT Checked
Width = 1700 Pixels (or your choice)
Height = 450 Pixels
Placement = Center Left
Change Left placement # to = 25
 
27. Layers > New Raster Layer
 
28. Layers > Arrange > Send to Bottom
 
29. Flood Fill Tool

Left click to fill with Foreground color

 

30. Selections > Select All

 

31. Edit > Paste Into Selection

(your misted tube)

 

32. Selections > Select None

 

33. Adjust > Blur > Gaussian Blur

 

34. Effects > Image Effects >

Seamless Tiling
 
35. Effects > Plugins > VM Extravaganza >
Channel 5
(or VM Distortion > Channel 5)
 
36. Effects > Image Effects >
Seamless Tiling
 
37. Layers > New Raster Layer
 
38. Flood Fill Tool

Left click to fill with Foreground color

 

39. Layers Palette

Lower Opacity to a Text friendly amount

(I used 80)

 

40. Layers > Merge > Merge Down

 

41. Effects > Image Effects >

Seamless Tiling

Settings:

Default

 

42. Layers > Merge > Merge Visible

 

43. Edit > Paste As New Layer
(your misted tube)
 
44. Move Tool
Arrange your tube on the far left
side to your liking
    
45. Layers > Merge > Merge Visible
 
*Optional 
46. You may now add text if you desire 
and a desired drop shadow to your text
 
47. Layers > New Raster Layer
 
48. Add your Watermark
 
49. File > Export > JPEG Optimizer
Settings:
Set Compression value to @ 20-25
OK
 
You are now done!
