started   Header   1 File > Open Tube of choice   2 Window > Duplicate (Shift+D) Close original   3 Image > Resize Suggested settings:(or use your own) Resample using = Smart size Lock aspect ratio = Checked Resize all layers = Checked Width = will adjust itself Height = No more than 350   4 Adjust > Sharpness > Sharpen   5 Dropper Tool From your tube Left click for foreground light colour Right click for background dark colour    6 File > New Settings: Width = 500 Height = 400 Raster Background = Selected Transparent = Checked   7 Flood Fill Tool Settings: Match Mode = None Sample Merged = Unchecked Blend = Normal Opacity = 100 Fill layer with light colour   8 Layers > New Raster Layer   9 Flood Fill Tool Fill layer with dark colour   10 Layers > New Mask Layer > From Image Settings: Source window = blkwebspin.JPG Source luminance = Checked Invert mask data = Unchecked   11 Layers > Merge > Merge Group   12 Layers > Merge > Merge Visible   13 Layers > New Raster Layer   14 Flood Mode = Replace Match Mode = RGB Value Tolerance = 0 Sample Merged = Unchecked Contiguous = Checked Feather = 0 Anti-alias = Checked Outside Click inside the black borders   25 Flood Fill Tool Fill selection with dark colour   26 Selections > Modify > Contract Settings: Number of pixels = 2   27 Flood Fill Tool Fill selection with light colour   28 Selections > Select None   29 Magic Wand Tool Settings: Mode = Add(Shift) Click inside the four small squares in The centre   30 Layers > New Raster Layer   31 Flood Fill Tool Fill selection with dark colour   32 Layers > New Mask Layer > From Image Settings: Source window = blkwebspin.JPG   33 Layers > Merge > Merge Group   34 Selections > Select None   35 Activate middle layer (this should be the layer with the framework on it)   36 Effects > 3D Effects > Drop Shadow Suggested settings: Vertical = 5, Horizontal = -5 (minus) Opacity = 35, Blur = 5 Colour = Black Shadow on new layer = Unchecked   37 Layers > Properties Settings: Opacity = 52 (or to your own choice)   38 Activate tube   39 Edit > Copy   40 Edit > Paste > Paste As New Layer   41 Layers > Arrange > Bring To Top   42 Move Tool Move tube over to the left   43 Effects > 3D Effects > Drop Shadow   44 Layers > Duplicate   45 Image > Resize Settings: Width & Height = 75% percent Resize all layers = Unchecked   46 Image > Mirror   47 Move Tool Move small tube over to the bottom right   48 Layers > Properties Settings: Opacity = 64   49 File > Open All accents or decorations This is where I leave it up to your own creativity as to what you use and where they are placed   50 Image > Add Borders Settings: Pixels = Selected Symmetric = Checked Colour = Your light colour Size in pixels = 2   51 Image > Add Borders Settings: Colour = Your dark colour   52 Image > Add Borders Settings: Colour = Your light colour   53 Layers > New Raster Layer   54 Add Watermark   55 File > Export > JPEG Optimizer Compression = 25     Background (before you begin your background pick an accent You would like for your side border leave that and the Blkwebspin.JPG open you can close out everything else)   1 File > New Settings: Width = 50, Height = 300   2 Flood Fill Tool Fill layer with dark colour   3 Effects > Texture Effects > Blinds Settings: Width = 3, Opacity = 30 Colour = Your light colour Horizontal = Unchecked Light from left/top = Unchecked   4 Image > Canvas Size Settings: Width = 100, Height = 300 Lock aspect ratio = Unchecked Placement = Centre   5 Layers > New Raster Layer   6 Layers > Arrange > Send To Bottom   7 Flood Fill Tool Fill layer with light colour   8 Effects > Texture Effects > Blinds Settings: Colour = Your dark colour   9 Activate top layer   10 Effects > 3D Effects > Drop Shadow Suggested Settings: Vertical = 5, Horizontal = 5 Opacity = 35, Blur = 5 Colour = Black Shadow on new layer = Unchecked   11 Effects > 3D Effects > Drop Shadow Suggested Settings: Vertical = -5 (minus), Horizontal = -5 (minus)   12 Effects > Image Effects > Seamless Tiling Settings: Edge = Checked, Vertical = Checked Width% = 50, Transition% = 50   13 Activate your accent/tube   14 Edit > Copy   15 Edit > Paste > Paste As New Layer   16 Effects > 3D Effects > Drop Shadow Suggested Settings: Vertical = 5, Horizontal = 5   17 Image > Canvas Size Settings: Width = 1280 (or your own setting) Height = 300 Placement = Middle left   18 Layers > New Raster Layer   19 Layers > Arrange > Send To Bottom   20 Flood Fill Tool Fill layer with your light colour   21 Layers > New Raster Layer   22 Flood Fill Tool Fill layer with your dark colour   23 Layers > New Mask Layer > From Image Settings: Source window = blkwebspin.JPG Source luminance = Checked Invert data mask = Unchecked   24 Layers > Merge > Merge Group   25 Layers > Properties Settings: Opacity = 32 (or to make it text friendly)   26 Effects > Image Effects > Seamless Tiling Settings: At Default (Click the arrow at the top to return to default settings)   27 Activate layer with your light coloured side bar on (To see which layer to activate put your cursor on a layer in your layers palette this will show what is on that layer)   28 Effects > 3D Effects > Drop Shadow Suggested Settings: Vertical = 5, Horizontal = 5 Shadow on new layer = Checked   29 Effects > Image Effects > Seamless Tiling Settings: Edge = Checked, Vertical = Checked Width% = 50, Transition% = 50   30 Layers > Merge > Merge All (Flatten)   31 File > Export > JPEG Optimizer Compression = 25   It is now ready for you to put together In Letter Creator.
