Re: [photoshop-beginners] Adobe Annoyance

John have you tried resetting the photoshop preferences file?  No idea if it will work but I'd try it before doing a re-install.  Other than that, I have no ideas.

After about a year of use both CS2 and CS3 could not access Help from the menu because the Help application could not be found and it was recommended to re-install the software. Re-installing the software means going through the 'nightmare' of 'authorizing' it with Adobe. This is my annoyance. Adobe produces a great application but when you have to fix some malfunction Adobe imposes great horrors. Anyone know of any ways to get back the Help function short of re-installing and battling Adobe about being on too many computers with the software. Also, anyone know of an email address that gets one into Adobe with a non-technical Photoshop usage issue. This is about the integrity of their software, is it not.
