No, that's a camera which may or may not portend what's to be in the
future, and the guy dresses like a boy, and is a chimper.

It's a monopod, and quite useful.

He's probably balding, but what makes him nerdy or creepy? What's wrong
with balding?

Eh. Theives are at least as able to rationalize their dishonesty as
anyone else. Probably more so. The words "Nikon should be giving this
program away for free or for much less money" tells you everything you
need to know about this worm: he's one of those dim bulbs with an
overwhelming sense of entitlement and an under-developed conscience.
And that sense of entitlement, should someone liberate a portion of
*his* property "for the greater good", would suddenly evaporate like
snow before a blowtorch.

"I shouldn't have to work for anything unless I feel like it" is the
oldest excuse in the world for taking something that doesn't belong to
you.

How is software theft different from breaking a store's window and
stealing a camera if you don't feel like paying for it?

No, it's the unofficial Obama campaign theme.

Well.. If I steal your camera you don't have a camera anymore.

If I steal your software (and you don't even know it) what have you
lost? At most a possible sale?

There IS a difference - I'm not saying it's not dishonest, but it is
different - copyright infringement and not 'theft'?

I often 'try before I buy' - I do buy if it works for me...

YMMV

What I find disconcerting is that he apparently died alone at home with
no medical care. Is this how people die in the USA? Didn't he have
anybody from the family (wife, kids etc.) who would take care of him?
And if he was so sick, why wasn't he in a hospital? Maybe he would have
survived if properly taken care of.

Er, they die all sorts of ways in the USA; just like everywhere else.
Had he known he was dying -or even seriously ill- presumably he would
have called for help; and that help's exactly three digits away:
9-1-1.

And what *I* find disconcerting is your presumption that the USA as a
whole must somehow be responsible for his death.

Why on earth would you extrapolate one person's situation to the
entire country? There are people without immediate family in the area
in any country in the world. There are people in all countries who
suddenly become ill and don't recognize the seriousness of their
illness until it is too late. There are individuals everywhere who
unwisely decide to "tough it out" when illness overtakes them rather
than see a doctor or admit themselves to a hospital.

Yes, that's how some people die in the US...and in any country in the
world.

Getting the latest firmware update for a camera generally helps with SDHC

No lie, merely ambiguous wording on my part. But I would expect a nasty
piece of work like you to automatically jump to the worst possible
interpretation. You clearly do it with Reichmann.

Since you agree with Reichmann, right here in this post, how is that I or
anyone was conned by him? His claim was that in certain circumstances a
print of a G10 picture is indistinguishable from the same picture by a
Hasselblad H2. Not only did you agree with him in the lines above but now
you deride him for pointing out the bleeding obvious.

You can't have it both ways. You can't call him a liar and agree with him.
Only an idiot would do that.

I know who the con artist is here and it's not Reichmann.

camera raw 5.x does not work with cs3. the only way to open them in
cs3 is to use the dng converter and open up the dng file.
