Photo story 3 is not entirely free if you want to burn a DVD. You have to
buy a "Sonic" plugin that at best is a flakey bit of software that sometimes
works, sometimes doesn't.
What's wrong with spending a couple of bucks on ProShow? At least it works
properly!

Try a great piece of freeware from Microsoft (gasp!).
Photostory 3.
It does all you want and more. Extras include; pan & zoom, captions on pix
option & transitions galore. (If u like that sort of thing). You can knock
up a show in under 30 minutes.

Add a video camera, microphone, speakers, gigabit ethernet, bluetooth,
wireless networking, video editing software, firewire, and dual
monitor support and the price difference gets to be rather smaller.

how is that similar?? a tower with separate monitor is not similar to
an imac. try comparing an imac to something like the gateway one. a
quick google finds the gateway about $1200, the same as the imac.
imagine that.

what cpu speed is this mystery tower? what video card does it have?
does it have firewire, gigabit ethernet, 802.11n, bluetooth, etc. ?

Not yet tried lossless rotation as most its features there,
but recently I downloads free FastStone image viewer.
Even if like Irfanview, in some aspects FS seems
at least as much as good. And, it has lossless rotation too.

I am sure there is a lot of film stock still out there in stores. If
you product is flying out of the stores as fast as you can make it, you
DON'T stop making it.

The only people who think Fox is unbiased are a few US red necks.
Globally Fox is seen as a joke. IT is the (as was commented on in the

Interesting how in your repetitive shouts of "dodge and weave" you are
avoiding discussion of the actual issue.
Propaganda 101. Make false accusations, use out of context
statments as "proof," try to shout down those with opposing
opinions, and hope the original issue goes away. That's what you are
good at. The Nazis would have been proud of you.

You don't understand subtle meanings, so you shout "lies!"
If I was a liar I would deny what you've quoted above. I don't.
And you still evade discussion of the actual issue, instead repeating
out of context quotes.
Why is that? Everybody knows the answer. It is because actual
discussion of the issue would underscore your status as a
self-righteous bigot.

You fell into the trap, Ray. Your blind hatred makes that easy for
you.
Irrefutable proof that you selectively quote portions of what people
write and then twist them to mean something else.
Here is the full text of what I wrote:
"You just want to see all Jews dead, along with everyone who watches
FOX news. (Oops, sorry, I accidently stepped into your character for
a moment there...)"
I was mocking you, Mr. self-righteous bigot, not stating my beliefs.
That is obvious to anyone... unless you dishonestly strip away the
part of the text that makes that clear.
What a dishonest, evil little bigot-man you are. Do you think anyone
really takes you seriously?

Many voters agreed with you. Congratulations. But a substantial

Now that your man is in charge, do you agree with his approval to kill
those 10 suspected terrorists in a sovereign nation with the latest

It's not a question, Ray. What you wrote was just a statemement of
self-righteous bigoted opinion with a question mark at the end of it.
The only answer to that question is this:
Yes, Ray, we all know that you are a bigot."

See, there you go again. Clipping, evading and name-calling instead
of addressing the issue. Here, I'll fill in what you clipped away to
give you another opportunity to redeem yourself:
---------------------------------------------------------------------
Let me ask you again, since you ignored or deleted what I said about
this previously:
Did the U.S. have the right to settle California, Arizona, New Mexico
and Colorado after winning that land as territory in the Mexican War,
regardless of whose land it was before?
Where those territories "part of" the United States at that point? Or
did it become "part of" the United States after those territories
became states? (The answer depends on what you mean by "part of.")
How is this situation any different from Israel and the West Bank?
(Or, more correctly from a historical point, the lands of Judea and
Samaria.)
Think hard about that one, Ray. I know it is hard for you since you
previously demonstrated that you don't know the difference between the
West Bank and Gaza.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
You can claim that as irrelevent, but what you are really saying is
that for you to respond to those questions would demonstrate that what
you quoted from me below is not a lie, but rather your
misunderstanding of the suble differences in what words can mean.

Since for practical purposes all photography is digital nowadays (except
for a tiny minority who still uses film).
It would make sense to restructure rec.photo.*
Why have a newsgroup dedicated to "DSLRs" since all SLRs are digital
these days.
Perhaps create a group rec.photo.film for all those who still use film
and rename the other rec.photo groups and/or change their charter.
