This lighthouse is at my home town, Port Huron, Michigan. At the spot where Lake Huron flows into the St Clair River. The shore not seen in the picture is Canada. I have spent many hours watching the scenes that go past here, from the USA shore. As a child fished from the shore, Dad worked in a cement factory just south of the lighthouse. Mom grew up just north of it.Now towers along the shore with elevtronic devices guide the ships through this tricky place...ships hitting the shore line is not unusual!
